@James: Yes, definitely not spring here! As I write this though, I feel a bit like I need to go into hibernation and work on myself for awhile before I can make stuff happen. So maybe I am reacting with the weather? And Yes, totally empathise with the not-having-laid-out-goals thing. Still trying to get the hang of it after being out of uni for nearly 1.5 years.

@Josiane: Yep, definitely exciting and scary (mostly scary :p ). Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment, but I'll just chip away at it slowly.

@Luke: If I set you up a blog, would you use it? I've had a bit of practice at it so doesn't take me long :) Twitter is good for bite-sized sharing though. Don't hold your breath, the great effect might be a while coming :S We shall see...

Yay for insights, finally having a sense of direction, and getting a clue about what your Thing is! That's huge! Of course, it's exciting and scary, but you seem to have what it takes to enjoy the excitment and deal with the scary.

Thanks for the mention! I should probably set up a blog of some sort, but I hate setting up blogs, and Twitter posts allow about as many characters as I ever want to share at one time.
I'm super keen to find out this nasty hidden dirty scary secret and how you're going to use it to great effect!

Oh man yes it is good to know you're not alone!

The internet is a wonderful way to find other people who are looking for other people who are stuck like them, if that makes sense! :)

I had originally wondered if it was spring that was causing a bunch of people in my little blogosphere to start getting an idea of what they wanted to do, to start being ready to take action, but then I'm thinking Canberra? It ain't spring there! So that blows that theory out of the water.

One thing for me recently has been trying to be ok with having a direction, if not a perfectly laid out pathway, and to start taking action at that point. Being so used to having everything laid out as to what to do next (exams, more exams, get a job) it's odd trying to adjust to no longer having that. At the same time, it's a hell of a lot more exciting too.

James | Dancing Geek’s last blog post..Living in the past
