About
Hi, I’m Rohan, and welcome to my blog! Now that you’ve found your way here, there’s a few things you might like to check out:
I help people get more out of their websites and help them develop new ones. I do that by offering a freelance web coding service, where I build new features, fix up broken things and develop new, interactive, dynamic websites. Click here to learn more about it.
Over at the blog, I write about life and living, on the very general topic of following the path with a heart. If you wanted to, you could classify it as personal development, but you’d find bits of online business, software development and random geekiness in there too.
Who am I?
That’s a tricky one, but I’ll give it a shot. I’m a software engineer living in Canberra, Australia. I’ve spent a little time working for government and private companies, but I much prefer freelance work. I aspire to run an online business, and to that end (and also for my own enjoyment) I’m developing TwitFol, a web application for Twitter that helps people handle new followers.
I run regularly, and I train in Aikido, a Japanese martial art centered around blending with your opponent’s movement rather than directly opposing it. I also meditate, with fluctuating levels of enthusiasm and success. I’ve been a vegetarian for most of my life and recently went vegan.
Whew
I think that’s enough about me! Drop past and say hi on Twitter some time (I’m @RohanM). Or if Twitter’s not your thing, there’s a bajillion (okay, three) other ways you can say hi on the contact page. Looking forward to meeting you!
